Stormy weather eases Thursday

There's plenty of work Thursday for plows and snow-moving equipment.

Midwestern Ontario communities are digging out from several days of blowing snow and significant accumulation.

All highways and county roads are open. Major routes are snow-packed and slippery in places. Secondary roads are snow-covered, icy, and drifted in spots.

Visibility for drivers is good.

There are no weather warnings or watches posted, but there is a risk of freezing drizzle, rain and heavy wet snow for Thursday night and Friday morning.
