Bruce Power supports local food hamper programs

Bruce Power is donating $50,000 to local food banks and Christmas hamper programs.

The donation helps over 25 food banks and programs over the holiday season.

The contribution was funded through Bruce Power’s Community Investment and Sponsorship Program.

In all the fund offered $2 million to regional non-profit organizations, events and initiatives over 2018.

“Our food banks and hamper programs do incredible work in the community, allowing as many families as possible to experience all the joys the holiday season brings,” said David Abbott, Bruce Power’s director of community and Indigenous relations. “We are proud to support these organizations, which are so integral to our communities during the holidays, and all year.”
