Election night saw several CAO's and clerks from Bruce and Grey counties in a conference call, where Dominion Voting admitted server issues had caused outages and affected internet and telephone voting in main municipalities.
In some areas, voting issues started in the late afternoon to early evening hours but it ultimately led to an extended voting period.
Of the 51 municipalities across the province, many are in Bruce and Grey counties. The only ones not affected were South Bruce Peninsula and Arran-Elderslie in Bruce County and Chatsworth in Grey County, which used paper ballots.
Dominion Voting claimed the issue was resolved in 90 minutes, and it was not related to security.
Voting has been extended to 8 p.m. Tuesday in all other Grey-Bruce municipalities including Owen Sound, Meaford, Southgate, West Grey, Brockton, Kincardine, Saugeen Shores, and South Bruce. ==

Owen Sound is among the estimated 50 municipalities across Ontario affected.
City Manager Wayne Ritchie said around 6 p.m. the voting site slowed to a crawl.
He says the online software was being run by a company called Dominion Voting Systems.
Owen Sound resident Maureen Marder was among the frustrated voters.
She said she tried online about seven times and the site kept freezing.
"And then I got fed up and I said I'll try the phone. And the same kind of thing I would phone and I would hear some noise and them click and then the dial tone."
