The community of Saugeen Shores has once again made the list of Canada’s Top 25 Best Places to Live.
Saugeen Shores has moved up three spots to a ranking of 14th on the national list since 2017
The ranking puts Saugeen Shores ahead of other Ontario cities including Toronto (16), Newmarket (23), and Whitby (25).
Every year, MoneySense ranks 415 Canadian communities based on the categories of wealth and economy, affordability, health, weather, commute, crime, taxes, demographics, culture and community, and amenities.
“It’s great to see our ranking increase,” says Saugeen Shores Mayor Mike Smith. “We live in a wonderful community and our high ranking confirms what we already know – that Saugeen Shores is the best place to live.”
Saugeen Shores also ranks sixth on the Ontario list of Best Places to Live, placing the town just above Toronto (7).
“We are the fastest growing community in Bruce County," says Smith. “Our economy is booming and we are well positioned to continue that growth into the future.”
