Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Kincardine

A pedestrian had to be airlifted to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Kincardine.

The OPP says the pedestrian was struck by an SUV on Queen St., on Thursday at around 10:47am.

Both the pedestrian and the vehicle driver were taken to a local hospital, and the pedestrian was then taken by air ambulance to a London hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Queen St. was closed at Lambton St. for the protection of emergency responders but has since re-opened to traffic.

Police say the investigation is in its early stages.
