Ontario Provincial Police are investigating an act of vandalism in the township of Perth South.
Constable Laura Lee Brown says it happened sometime before dawn Saturday morning at an apiary on Perth Line 34.
Unknown suspects entered the business and caused significant damage to the bee hives before leaving.
Police say the vandalism resulted in the death of a large quantity of bees.
