Owen Sound Fire and Emergency Services will begin their annual Home Visitation and Assistance Program on May 1.
On-duty firefighters will inspect homes for life safety devices such as smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. The voluntary program also provides homeowners with the opportunity to ask questions of the firefighters.
The 2018 campaign will see Fire and Emergency services focus in the South East portion of the City.
Firefighters will be visiting homes in the area south of 10th St. E and east of 2nd Ave. E from 6:30pm to 8:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings as well as Saturday afternoons.
