The Town of Minto and Minto fire department have planned their second annual family-friendly Fire and Ice New Year's Eve event.
It takes place from 5pm to 8pm at the Palmerston Community Centre on December 31.
There will be fire pits with s'mores and hot chocolate, a Fire Show and Glow Hoop Performance, free skating, music, food and dogsled demos.
Kids will enjoy ice sculpture building, snow painting, and face painting.
The evening caps off with a Fireworks Display at 8pm
“We are really excited to offer local, affordable family fun for families in Minto and surrounding areas again this year,” said Belinda Wick-Graham, Minto’s economic development manager. “Thanks to the support of several sponsors including the Blessings To You Centre and the Minto Retirees we are fortunate to offer this event by donation, making it accessible for everyone."
