Recruitment Underway For Huron County Wind Turbine Health Study

Recruitment is underway for the Huron County Wind Turbine Study about noise, vibration and light.

Huron County residents who live within 10 km of a turbine are eligible to participate, with no limit on how many people can register.

The study needs participants who report difficulties with wind turbines and those who don't have a problem.

To sign up, you need a completed consent form and registration survey by October of 2018. You must fill out an observation diary at least one week every month for a year.

The Huron County Health Unit is hosting a public information meeting Thursday night regarding its study into the possible health impacts of wind turbines.  The meeting will be held in the auditorium at the health unit complex, south of Clinton, at 7pm.

A map showing which areas are eligible can be found at www.huronhealthunit.ca/wind.
