Drayton, Milverton Robbery Suspects Arrested

Peel Regional Police played a major role in the arrest of suspects believed to be involved in bank robberies in Drayton and Milverton.

The CIBC in Milverton was robbed on July 25 around 1:35pm, and on August 1 at around 4pm, the RBC branch on Main St. in Drayton was robbed.

In both cases, cash was taken, and the suspect's face was covered by a bandanna.

Police released images from both robberies.

A similar bank robbery was also being investigated in Brampton.

In the early morning of August 5, Peel Regional Police stopped two suspects and arrested them in connection with the Brampton robbery.   It was later determined they were possible suspects in the robberies in Milverton and Drayton.

Duane Jeffery Martin, 45, of Brampton has been charged with two counts of robbery with a weapon, two counts of disguise with intent and two counts of pointing a firearm.

A 19-year-old woman from Brampton, Taylor Brum, has also been charged with two counts of robbery with a weapon.
