Quick action by a neighbour alerted firefighters to a house fire in Blyth Wednesday morning.
A neighbour heard a smoke alarm nearby around 7am, and contacted the Fire Department of North Huron.
Crews from Blyth and Wingham had the blaze under control quickly.
The house was unoccupied and the cause of the fire is listed as electrical in nature.
Fire Chief David Sparling estimates damage at around $75,000.
