Argo's Legend Speaks At BCFA 75th Anniversary Celebration

Toronto Argonaut football legend Michael "Pinball" Clemons had an entertaining and inspirational message for a crowd of about two hundred in Cargill.

Clemons was guest speaker at the Bruce County Federation of Agriculture's 75th anniversary celebration.

Clemons has traveled to places in the world where people starve.

He says his part in marking the success of the Bruce County farming community is his way of saying thank you to all farmers.

"To come and say thank you for your diligence, for your consistency, for your compassion, for serving us," says Clemons. "I admire the work ethic. If I played football with the kind of passion and desire that they farm with I would consider that an honour."

Clemons says we have to honour the past and appreciate the present in order to make the future as successful as possible for everyone.
