LCBO stores across Huron and Perth Counties are reaching out to help the United Way of Perth-Huron.
Starting on Thursday July 21st, 2016, twelve stores across the two counties will kick-off a two week in-store fundraising campaign as a way of "Giving Back" to the local communities.
Rodger Donald, Manager of the Goderich LCBO shared, “Our in-store campaigns and customer donations help the LCBO to do its part to reach out and help those in need. The Giving Back in our Community campaign continues to surpass fundraising goals. The unique aspect of United Way is that all the donations stay local, we are all part of communities, that’s why we are proud to support United Way in its endeavour to make positive change in Huron and Perth."
Last year alone, LCBO stores across Huron and Perth managed to raise approximately $58,508.00 for the United Way of Perth-Huron and provincially, the LCBO donated roughly $3.8 million dollars to the United Way across Ontario.
