Hanover Rotary Club Donates To Dog Park

The dog park in Hanover got a big boost.

The Hanover Rotary Club has donated $20,000.00 to the construction of the Rotary Dog Park, located within the Rail Lands Leisure Park.

Hanover Rotary President, Nelson Dawley, notes the project is a good fit within the community.  The park was totally funded through the marquee sponsorship from the Hanover Rotary Club and donations from community residents, businesses and events.

The Hanover dog park project has been and on-going one for two years and and grand opening event is slated for April of next year.

Some of the key rules for use of the Rotary Dog Park include: 1) All Dogs must be licensed in a municipality; 2) All dogs using the park must be spayed or neutered; and 3) All dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations, including the rabies vaccine.
