A tentative deal has been reached between the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation District 8 and the Avon Maitland District School Board.
Wes McVicar, Communications Manager for the Board says they're quite optimistic moving forward.
The agreement does NOT affect support staff or elementary school teachers and is expected to be ratified sometime before the end of October.
