The Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority's draft budget increases the levy to municipalities by nearly 2 per cent.
A report on the budget says that translates into a $30,379. increase over 2015.
Ministry of Natural resources grants to the conservation authority have not increased for over a decade, at $157,669.
That covers some of the cost for flood warnings, and water projects.
The budget includes salary increases of 1.5%
Budget increases in the past few years have been under 2%.
