The Mayor of Bluewater says there will be public washrooms on Clan Gregor Square in Bayfield by next spring.
Tyler Hessel explains members of the Optimists, the Lions Club and the farmers market recently sat down with town staff to work out some of the final details.
Hessel adds they're hoping to at least be able to issue a building permit in the very near future because that's one of the requirements for the funding which is coming from the Trillium Foundation.
Hessel says a motion was passed at last night's meeting to approve an architect and lead on the project.
The next step is getting the building permit and Hessel adds everyone involved will be much happier once that's done so the funding can be approved.
