Two More Calves Stolen From Atwood Area Farm

Perth County OPP are investigating the second theft of calves from an Atwood area farm in less than two weeks.

Officials say male and female black and white Holstein calves were removed from their individual hutches sometime between 12:05 a.m. midnight and 9 a.m. Monday.

The heifer weighs approximately 150 lbs and has a tag in both ears with the number 272. The untagged bull weighs approximately 200 lbs.

Police say the calves were most likely loaded onto a covered pickup truck.

This comes after two other Holsteins were stolen from the same farm nine days ago.

Those two calves, who weight 100lbs and 120lbs respectively, were also stolen from their hutches overnight on August 14.

Perth County OPP ask anyone with information regarding this case to contact them.
