Southgate council is looking at drilling a new well in Dundalk as a result of changes in provincial requirements.
Before the change, council thought it had capacity for about 1,400 new residential units. With the new provincial calculation, that number drops to about 18.
Southgate CAO Dave Milliner says the new requirement for all municipalities in the province is “very frustrating."
