The Huron County Health Unit is inviting workplaces across the county to learn more about ‘wellness’.

The Health Unit, along with partners across southwestern Ontario, is hosting a workshop next month in Stratford, but the early-bird registration deadline is the end of this week.

An all-day workship is scheduled for May 27th at the Stratford Rotary Complex.

It’s designed to teach participants to identify the steps needed to build healthier organizations. It’s also a networking opportunity for employers, business owners, managers, human resource personnel, and health, safety and wellness representatives.

The early-bird registration deadline is Friday, April 17th. You can register at www.swworkplacewellness.eventbrite.ca.

“Employers need to know that the wellbeing of employees gives organizations a strategic advantage,” says Annie Lukacsovics, Public Health Promoter at the Huron County Health Unit.
“You can create a healthy, successful organization when you connect health, safety and wellness initiatives to your human resource goals.”
