Former Church Leader In Chatsworth To Stand TrialMarch 25, 2015 4:38pm
Almost a year after being arrested, a former Chatsworth church leader will stand trial on a number of sex charges.
Fred King was the leader of the Church of Jesus Christ Restored. King will stand trial on 24 total charges spanning over 30 years. They include sexual exploitation, sexual interference, sexual assault, and uttering death threats.
The OPP arrested King last April in Hamilton following a 16 month investigation. King will appear in court again May 4.
King’s brother, Judson, will also stand trial and his next court appearance is April 7.
There is a publication ban in place.
