Charges After Harriston Crash

A 44-year-old St. Catharines man has been charged after a snow plow and car collided at the corner of highways 9 and 23 in Harriston Thursday night.

The Wellington County OPP says a 2005 Saab and a private contractor collided at around 11:30pm.

When they arrived on-scene, officers say they observed signs of impairment from the male driver of the Saab. He suffered minor injuries and was transported to Guelph hospital.

The 44-year-old has had his license suspended for 90 days. He's also facing a charge of impaired driving and refusing to supply a breath sample.
