Residents in the Township of Puslinch face a tax hike of almost 4 per cent.
Council approved the 2015 budget with a 3.4 per cent tax increase.
When Wellington County and education taxes are added in, taxes will go up by 3.9 percent.
That an extra $229 on the median Puslinch home worth $588,000.
County and education taxes are just preliminary numbers until they are finalized.
The budget includes over $925,000 for roads and bridges, streetscaping in Morriston, and over $200,000 for capital working reserves.
There are also plans for a community based strategic plan, and some maintenance at the Puslinch Community Centre.
“Puslinch Council has passed a budget that continues to focus on our key priorities,” comments Mayor Dennis Lever.
