Tory Leadership Candidate In Broadhagen

One of the leadership candidates for the provincial Tories says it's time to dismantle the existing party bureaucracy and start rebuilding from the grass roots up.

Patrick Brown was speaking in Broadhagen yesterday to about 70 supporters of the Huron-Perth Landowners Association. He told them that the freedom of property owners in rural Ontario has been seriously diminished under the current Liberal government.

Brown also maintains that the discontent with the party bureaucracy is not limited to rural Ontario. He says people in Toronto are just as unhappy with what he calls the "small clique" that runs the party, and he believes it's time to get rid of the old hierarchy and start fresh.
