Mark Bailey will serve a third term as chair of the Upper Grand District School Board.
Bailey was elected at the inaugural meeting last evening. Trustee Marty Fairbairn was acclaimed as vice chair for a third year.
The positions are for a one-year term ending November 30, 2015.
All ten trustees took the oath of office last night, including three new members.
Barb White was elected as the new trustee for Orangeville. Martha MacNeil represent Guelphs Wards 1 and 5. Barbara Lustgarten-Evoy is trustee for Centre Wellington.
Returning to the board table are re-elected trustees Bruce Shieck, Kathryn Cooper, Lynn Topping, Linda Busuttil and Susan Moziar.
