Tourism Awards Gala Tonight At Blue Mountain Resort

Several local groups are up for awards at the Ontario Tourism Summit Gala at Blue Mountain Resorts tonight.

The Township of Huron Kinloss is a finalist in the Tourism Marketing Initiative under $25,000 for its Secrets to the Back 40 Brochure.

The Explore the Bruce Adventure Passport is up for The Tourism Printed Collateral Material Award

ImagePort's Peter McNeice and his Southampton Beach Photo is in the running for the Travel Photography Award.

The Municipality of Kincardine and the Kincardine Rotary Club are in the running for the The Accessible Tourism Award.

"We have some stiff competition. We're up against Toronto and Niagara, but we think we might just be able to pull it off,"  says Bruce County Tourism Manager Kim Clark. "Just kind of bragging rights as best printed collateral across Ontario and we get a trophy. I think this is a real validation that people love the passport."
