A Hanover man says bouquets of flowers are circling an area near the War Memorial in Ottawa after Wednesday’s tragedy.

Jason Rahn, who is in Ottawa for business, stopped at the memorial late Thursday.

Rahn says the feeling in Ottawa on Thursday wasn’t tense but very emotional.

“I saw a lot of people coming together,” says Rahn. “I was there for about ten minutes just paying my respects. People were walking away crying.”
