Intoxicated Mount Forest Mower Operator Assaults Officer

OPP have charged a man with assaulting an officer after a report of an intoxicated man driving around Mount Forest on a lawn tractor.
Wellington County OPP answered the call about 5:30 last night. The suspect assaulted an officer during the arrest.
He again threatened an officer as he was being lodged in a cell at OPP headquarters.
The 48 year old Southgate Township man was charged with uttering threats, assault a peace officer, and being intoxicated in a public place.
