North Huron Votes By Mail

For the first time, residents in North Huron are voting by mail for the municipal election.

Packages are being sent in the mail to eligible voters who then follow the included steps. Once filled out, ballots are placed in the included envelope and sent back by mail or delivered to the municipality in person.

CAO Barbara Wilson says that while not everyone has got their package yet, early feedback has been positive.

A video showing how to use the vote by mail package is available on the North Huron website.

Wilson adds that by bringing the ballot to the voters, it is expected that more people will be able to vote.
