West Grey police and the OPP were on scene around Mildmay today to conduct a search for a missing man.

36-year-old Colen Pfeffer of Normanby Township was last seen early Wednesday morning. His vehicle was located southwest of Mildmay this morning.

The search has led to a heavy police presence around the town, with many residents seeing helicopters hovering over the area. West Region OPP Emergency response team along with the canine unit and aviation are involved in the search.

Pfeffer is described as:

• 6′ tall, 200 lbs with a stocky build
• Short, light brown hair and a goatee
• Tanned, fair complexion
• Walks with a limp from a recent surgery

Police say he is known to dress in blue jeans and plaid shirts.
