UPDATE: Fatal Crash on Highway 8 Near Goderich

One person is dead after a crash on Hwy. 8 near Goderich.

The crash happened around 1:10am this morning near Falls Rd.  A Ford Explorer collided with a tractor trailer.  The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.  The 30-year old driver of the tractor trailer was treated for a minor injury.

Police are in the process of notifying family.

A post-mortem examination has been scheduled for tomorrow.
