Central Huron Sign Available For Use

Central Huron’s Community Improvement Co-ordinator says the electric sign on highway 8 at the old fire station needs more promotion.

Genny Smith says the sign is meant to be a communications tool to let people know what’s going on in the area.

She says, “We have had it up for just over a year now, and  we really want  to get the word out about what is going on in Central Huron.  So Community groups can advertise for free, and businesses get quite a bang for their buck, especially if they are BIA members.  Council’s very supportive and they are able to give them a bit of a discount if they are BIA members.”

Smith acknowledges they’ve had some technical problems with the sign and they’re working with the owners to update to the latest technology.

Anyone interested in advertising on the electric sign can contact the Central Huron town hall.
