Survey Suggests Residents Satisfied With Huron OPP

The OPP’s detachment in Huron County has released the results from a Community Satisfaction Survey.

Respondents were asked about a number of issues including security, perceptions of crime and presence.

Over 90 percent of respondents felt safe, and were staisfied with the work done in Huron County.

Police officials say the 2014 results showed a significant improvement in all categories from the 2011 survey.
“Huron County residents expect policing excellence and professionalism at all times and the results of this survey confirm we are on the right track. We continually strive to provide a professional, high quality and accountable service to all of our visitors and residents.
Overall, the results of this survey are very positive and I am very proud of the professional work our officers and civilians perform on a daily basis.”
