Huron County Speeder Now Walking

An early morning traffic stop for speeding has resulted in a young driver leaving the stop without his vehicle or his driver’s licence.

This morning, just before 7:00 a.m. a Huron County OPP officer clocked an eastbound vehicle passing a slower vehicle on Huron Road near Division Line at 152 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.

The officer pulled the offending driver over.

A 21-year-old Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh man is charged with race a motor vehicle.

His driver’s licence has been suspended for seven days and his vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
