It will be partly sunny with highs in the mid-20’s through the holiday weekend.

For some, that means time at the beach.

The Huron County Health Unit’s beach water results, as of today, show five of the 14 beaches are posted due to E.coli levels. ┬áThat inlcudes Bayfield Main Beach, Main Beach in Goderich, Hay Township Park Beach, and beaches in Port Albert and Port Blake.

According to the health unit, when E. coli levels exceed the provincial limit it does not mean you are guaranteed to get sick but it does mean your risk of getting sick is higher.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit is keeping postings up for Kelso Beach in Owen Sound and Little River Beach in Thornbury.

Water samples were taken on July 30 and results came in today.

Water samples taken at Northwinds Beach in the Town of the Blue Mountains show results within acceptable levels according to Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care standards.
