Perth County OPP Gets Good GradesJuly 30, 2014 6:02am
A survey found over 94 per cent of respondents are satisfied with the service from the Perth County OPP .
The survey done in January found that 99 per cent felt safe in their community.
90 per cent said they were satisfied with the OPP detachments ability to work with communities to solve local problems. And 90 per cent were satisfied with enforcement of impaired driving laws in the region.
“It is rewarding to see these numbers as they indicate to me that Perth County residents are satisfied with their police service,” says Perth County OPP Inspector Steve Porter. “I have seen our citizens engaged and partner with our police agency in solving community issues. This in turn helps towards higher satisfaction rates and feelings of empowerment. We are continually attempting to improve service and efficiency for the residents of Perth County. One example is the recent implementation of the online Citizen Self Reporting system which adds that additional option for reporting incidents.”
