The OPP have launched an online Citizen Self-Reporting system.

Provincial police say the system allows people to report low priority, non-emergency incidents online.

Crimes that fall under the category include: Theft under 5-thousand dollars, mischief or damage to property or vehicles under 5-thousand dollars, theft from a vehicle and lost or missing property.

Police say the system is optional and residents may still contact the OPP if they wish to speak to or see an officer to report an incident.

The CSR system is now live, to file a report people can visit opp.ca/reporting.
