Extensive Road Damage From Varna Wind Project

The Municipality of Bluewater wants 1.6 million dollars to cover the cost to repair roads damaged in the construction of the Varna Wind Project.
Manager of Public Works Dave Kester says the compensation would satisfy the Terms of the Road User Agreement with Next Era Energy.
The money would be used to restore gravel roads, and paving of damaged portions of Bronson Line and Goshen Line.
The municipality’s lawyer will review the request before council gives its final approval.
