B.C. Driver Charged In Perth County For 95km/h Over Limit

A British Columbia man won’t forget his trip through the village of Brunner this morning.

It was around 3:30 a.m. when a Perth County OPP patrolling on Perth Road 119 in the village when he caught a vehicle on radar at 95 km/h above the limit, at 155 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

The officer pulled the driver over and he was charged with racing a motor vehicle.

The 20-year-old from Langley, B.C. also had his driver’s licence was suspended for seven days, and his rental car impounded for a week.

He is scheduled to appear in Stratford court on August 26 to answer to this charge.
