Weekend Domestic Disputes Keep Grey County OPP Busy

Domestic disputes took up a lot of time for Grey County OPP officers over the weekend.
Between Friday and Sunday, officer investigated eight domestic-related incidents, four of which resulted in charges being laid.
A 47-year-old Georgian Bluffs man was charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm to his common-law spouse.
A Collingwood man was charged with assault, break and enter and, breach of probation after the 53-year-old entered his estranged wife’s residence in Grey Highlands and assaulted her.
A 42-year-old Township of Chatsworth woman was charged with breach of recognizance after police found her inside her ex-common-law’s residence.
A Grey Highlands man was charged with domestic mischief after discovering that his wife had been communicating with another man. After damaging some house hold property, the 37-year-old accused went to Thornbury and confronted the male in a parking lot and assaulted him.
