Update: Charges Laid In Crash That Sent Ten People To Hospital

A 42-year-old West Perth woman faces a number of charges after yesterday’s serious head-on crash south of Stratford that sent 10-people to hospital, including six children.
Police say the woman was travelling southbound on Perth Road 113 (Embro Rd.) when her Grand AMÂ crossed the centre line and collided with a van.
The van was transporting two adults and five children from West Perth, and there were two adults and a child in the Grand AM. All ten people were transported to hospital. According to Perth County EMS, all of the children were under 10 years old.
The woman from West Perth faces charges of “breath sample: not provided upon demand”, “impaired driving causing bodily hard”, and “dangerous operation causing bodily harm”.
She is scheduled to appear in court in September to answer to the charges.
She was also issued a 90 day driver’s licence suspension.
