Update: Suspicious Man Identified

Grey County OPP have identified the suspicious man who police say was looking for homes with small children allegedly for a project.
Police say that man is a 24-year-old college student from Estonia. He is one of four students in the Grey County area attempting to sell children’s books.
Police have spoken with him and say there is no concern for public safety.

Grey County OPP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspicious male.
Police say the man is claiming to be an exchange or college student, who is looking for homes with small children allegedly for a project he is working on.
Between July 4th and 13th, police have received three similar reports from residents on 8th Concession and the 12th Line in Meaford, as well as Sideroad 1 in Chatsworth.
The man is described as 5’9 to 6’1, slim build with short dark hair, olive skin, wearing beige pants and a polo shirt. He has a heavy European accent and goes by the name Carl.
Police say the man is driving a black or silver compact car.
