Blyth Festival is recognizing members of the Canadian Armed Forced.
Current and retired members are being offered free tickets to see a performance of Billy Bishop Goes to War on July 22nd.
An any member of the Royal Canadian Legion can purchase 20-dollar tickets to the World War One Story.
The “made in Blyth” production is a humorous and heartfelt show that brings the heroic exploits of the World war one flying ace to life.
Bishop was born in Owen Sound, and was officially credited with 72 victories. That made him the top pilot in the British Empire.
