The Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce is looking for 400 Champions. The chapter wants to have at least 400 individuals, businesses, or organizations signed up as Alzheimer Coffee Break hosts this fall.

Coffee Break is officially Thursday, September 15th, but you can hold a Coffee Break any time during September or October. A Coffee Break can be as simple as collecting donations at work, having a bake sale, pot luck dinner, or wine and cheese event.

Executive Deborah Barker says in March of 2010, they were providing services to 472 clients. Two years later, they had over one thousand clients registered.

More than 93 per cent of the money raised in Grey-Bruce stays in the area to provide services for individuals, families and health care professionals. The balance goes to research, improving care practices, and developing information and educational materials
