Drive-Thru Worker Keeps Drunk Driver Off Road

A drive-thru worker in an Owen Sound restaurant is being praised by police for stopping a drunk driver last night.
The employee was afraid the customer had been drinking and alerted his manager after noticing there was an open beer in his lap.
Police arrived on scene just as the driver was trying to get back on the road.
The 24-year-old male driver blew over twice the legal limit and has since had his vehicle impounded and license suspended. He will appear in court next week.
