Grey County Talks Affordable Housing

Grey County council is hoping to provide developers with incentives to build more affordable housing.
Councillors passed a motion to consider setting aside money so developers could apply for a development charge rebate if they build lower cost housing.
Hanover Mayor Kathi Maskell says affordable housing is much needed with some people paying 80 per cent of their income on housing.
Grey County council will consider committing $50,000 to the fund in 2015 budget deliberations.
