Highway 8 (line 34) between Hensall Road (Road 182) and Beachwood Line (Road 183) has re-opened.

Today’s torrential downpours in part of midwestern Ontario  forced Perth County OPP to close a section of Highway 8 between Dublin and Seaforth for a time early this afternoon due to flooding.

Traffic was diverted around the area along Hydro Line Road one concession north of Hwy 8.

The flooded section re-opened just before 4 p.m. today
