Impaired London Woman Kept In Stratford Overnight By Police
A woman from London spent the night in police custody in Stratford until she sobered up.
Police got a call around 11:30pm last night from a witness who reported a vehicle following them and weaving all over the road. Police tracked down the vehicle and pulled over the driver.
Officers suspected the 31-year-old female was impaired and took her to Stratford police headquarters. Her breath samples were over three times the legal limit.
She was held overnight for her own safety. She also faces an automatic 90-day licence suspension, and had her vehicle impounded for a week.
