Durham Dam Not Safe For Swimming

You won’t be able to cool off at the Durham Dam.
Beach water sampling from last Thursday shows levels exceeding Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care standards for acceptable bacterial levels. As a result, the Durham Dam is being posted as unsafe until samples indicate otherwise.
The Medical Officer of Health says high levels of bacteria in the water may pose a risk to health.
