Sponsors and Players Announced For Raise A Little Health Hockey Game

Huron-Bruce MP Ben Lobb has announced the addition of more players and sponsors for the July 24th “Raise a Little Health” charity hockey game.

The game will be played at the Maitland Rec Centre in Goderich to raise money for the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital in Goderich, the Goderich Y’s Strong Kids program and the Gateway Rural Health Research Institute in Seaforth.

The goal is fifty-thousand dollars and Lobb says they’re about 80 per cent of the way there with the addition of five thousand dollars from the Unifor Union at the Sifto Salt Mine and 25-hundred dollars each from Telus and West Jet. Lobb also announced this weekend the addition of Dave McLlwain, Justin and Anthony Peters as well as a few other local OHL players.

Lobb says more players will be recruited in the next few weeks.
